this is ron and i on his 2 week leave in march/april 2008

This is ron and i on his 4 day leave in august 2007

During his 4 day leave we spent time with our families and was preparing for him to be gone to Iraq for at least 8 months

When he came home on his 2 week leave, I put him to work right away. we had our friends Richard, Justin, Becky, Dee, RD, and of course both of our wonderful brothers Josh and Eric, help us move into our first apartment together.

during the next few months i had to adjust being out on my own. it was hard at times b/c i did feel alone. with ron in Iraq it was not easy.

but i have a wonderful mom who would let me come over anytime i want and gave ron and i some of the biggest support that we needed.

also, my best friend cassi would come over and keep me company.

then some of my really good friends moved into an apartment in the same complex as me so i was able to go see them, and they and i have now dubbed their little dogs my nephews.

what else had helped me through that time was school. i worked hard and received 2 more A's :D
